Glass cutting experience is helpful but not necessary!

Create a floral plate or bowl transforming those rainy spring days into the hot days of summer.  Think about using this as a bowl in which to serve a salad or a plate to serve hors d’oeuvres at a summer gathering.  Friends will be amazed at your creative talent.

You will start by cutting two circles.  One will be the base layer and the other will be used for the top layer.  Starting in the center of the stacked circles you will radiate vitrigraph stringers toward the outside.

Place dots or tiny pieces of glass at the end of the vitrigraph-shaped stringers to create your flowers.  Other embellishments can be added to make your piece more unique.

We will first fire it flat and again to slump it into your bowl or plate.

Cost includes clear base glass, pattern for general placement of dots, stringers, noodles, frit and other embellishments and two firings.  You will need to purchase the top layer of glass for your bowl.

Bring:  glass cutting tools, if you have them and glasses. No shorts or open-toed shoes.
