5/12, Zig-Zag Vase Class

Date: Saturday, May 12th, 9:30-2:30pm

Strong Soldering Skills are necessary!

In this class you will make a funky vase which you will build in two pieces.  The outside vase is constructed of bevels soldered together at different angles to create the zig-zag look.  The inside vase is made with contrasting colors so the combination really pops.

You will assemble the inside vase first and then move on to the zig-zag vase.

PLEASE STOP IN AHEAD OF CLASS TO PICK OUT YOUR 6x12” COLORED GLASS (not included in the class fee) AND BEVELS.  You will need to foil the bevels before class as class time doesn’t allow for that.

We plan on finishing the project in this one day class but if absolutely necessary you can finish up on Sunday afternoon.

Cost includes 12-4x7” diamond bevels, 1-4” square mirror bevel, ¼” silver back foil, and lunch.

Bring:  your glass cutting tools, black-back foil, soldering iron, stand, sponge, solder, flux and flux remover, black patina and safety glasses, if you don’t already wear glasses.  No shorts or open-toed shoes.
