Glass cutting experience is necessary!

Is there anything better than an autumn day?  After a hot summer, cool days and cooler nights are so pleasant. The colors are so vibrant with the changing of the seasons. Create this beautiful Autumn Tree to display in your home.

In this class, you will start by cutting a circle from the 12” clear base glass (if you’ve never cut a circle before it’s fun and easy to do); which will be used as a foundation for your autumn composition.  You will cut the background and tree using the pattern provided and layer it on top of the circle.  You will then nip the leaves to fill out your tree and provide detail.

You will have the option of either adding hooks to hang your tree or use a display stand to show off your glass art.

PLEASE STOP IN PRIOR TO CLASS TIME TO PURCHASE YOUR GLASS AND PICK UP YOUR PATTERN.  CLASS TIME IS AT A PREMIUM AND DOES NOT ALLOW FOR THAT STEP.

Also it is recommended that you cut out your pattern and apply it to the glass so you will be ready to start cutting and grinding when class begins.

Cost includes clear base glass, hooks for hanging, pattern, scrap glass, embellishments, and kiln firing.  You will need to purchase glass for the background and tree for this project and the stand if you choose to display it that way.

Bring:  your glass cutting tools, if you have them and safety glasses, if you don’t already wear glasses.  No shorts or open-toed shoes.
