Date: Saturday, August 26th, 9:30-2:30pm

Glass cutting experience is helpful, but not necessary!

In this class, you will learn the basics of fusing (melting) glass together to create a stunning piece of art that is both functional and decorative.

You will learn what can and can’t be used when firing a kiln up to 1465 degrees.  You’ll learn about COE’s of glass, types of glass to be used and you’ll see samples of the different techniques available.

You then make two projects-a small one that you can take with you at the end of class and a larger one that you will have to pick up later in the week.

Cost includes A selection of glass to make both of your fused projects, however if you need a specific color you will have to purchase that.

Bring: A small towel to wrap your piece in for transport home, glass cutting tools if you have them and safety glasses if you don’t already wear glasses.  No shorts or open-toed shoes.
